COMMON QUESTIONS

DO PARENTS/GUARDIANS STAY DURING THE PROGRAM?

We strongly encourage independence at Buddy UP! and ask that parents and/or guardians drop off their teen at the program start time and pick up when program is finished.

DOES THE GROUP GO OUT IN THE COMMUNITY?

Currently Buddy UP! is strictly held within the Essa Public Library (Angus Branch) and on their grounds. Occasionally if weather permits, we may venture out onto the back field of the library to enjoy the outdoors, but we do not leave the Library property unless a special outing with permission forms is arranged.

WHO RUNS THE PROGRAM?

With over 17 years of experience working with and supporting individuals of all ages on the spectrum, Kathleen Burroughs,

Founder of Buddy UP! Social Skills (former Owner of ABA on the GO) runs, operates and facilitates the entire program.

Kathleen is very well versed in the Autism community and her passion for improving the overall skill sets of youth with ASD

continues to grow year after year.

WHAT DO WE BRING?

Participants are welcome to bring a snack and water bottle. If there are certain no-screen games, activities or special interests they would like to share with the group, we highly encourage them to bring what they like. Cell phones are permitted in group for phone calls or texts to parents/guardians.
